Job Description
Experienced Project Manager with good knowledge and hands-on experience in IT projects and software development lifecycle. Being responsible for all aspects of project management related to project initiation, planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing for mid-level and large projects. Building and managing project team, communicating status to the Project Sponsor, Customer and other key Stakeholders. Ensuring quality control and keeping project within budget throughout project life cycles. Being the caretaker for all issues coming up during project run-time. Managing all aspects of the project in order to reach project success based upon the project goals. The role will include, but will not be limited to the following:
- Planning, managing and controlling project team, ensuring successful delivery of key outcomes which include developing work plans, gathering data, leading analytical efforts and making recommendations
- Monitoring progress against the plan and initiating necessary corrective action
- Resolving issues and solving problems throughout the project life cycle
- Ensuring timely delivery of project results and stakeholder acceptance
- Providing presentations on project status including milestone achievement, financials, resources, progress on delivery, risks, etc.
- Leading and motivating project team members on a proactive basis
- Being key interface between the customer and the development team
- Traveling to customer location in Germany (approx. 10-15%)
Qualifications
Professional qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in project management
- At least 3 years of experience in SW engineering - engineering knowledge and technical reference to development and construction.
- Basic knowledge of CAD software and 3D modeling
- Flexibility in implementation of project management methodologies: Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall - you know when to apply each methodology and you can customize approach based on the project's specific needs. Additionally, you have experience in creating and managing project schedules, budgets, and deadlines.
- Strong speaking and writing skills in English and German language
- Ability to work in dynamic multi-cultural environment
