Summary

The Sr Director IT Governance, Strategy, and Integration is seen as one of the CIO's trusted partners in leading IT to become a business value stream-oriented organization. The position serves to surface risks early, align IT's strategy and Business priorities, Data & AI work streams and put practical governance, metrics, and processes in place that help the organization move from intent to sustained results. This position oversees functions such as IT strategy and transformation, governance, assurance, change management, communication and performance management. The position focuses on ensuring that the IT organization performs successfully through strategy and governance, as well as "doing things right" through business alignment to value streams.


Location

This position can sit in any of our US offices and offers a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Manages the team of people that provides cross-functional management responsibilities spanning Quality, IT vendor management, IT procurement, and IT risk & governance, ensuring alignment across delivery, cost controls, and risk management.
  • Oversees the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, methodologies, and governance — as well as performance management frameworks and metrics — to ensure the IT organization delivers value to the enterprise.
  • Works with the CIO and Firm leadership teams to deliver communication of technology strategy and capabilities in support of business.
  • Drives and facilitates effective collaboration and communications between the IT organization and the user and customer communities.
  • Responsible for directing the preparation, review and consolidation of business plans and budgets for the IT organization.
  • May regularly review IT costs and cost structures for IT services and products so that the financial implications of IT projects and activities are communicated to the proper IT and business executives.
  • May direct risk evaluation and compliance management processes.
  • Provides risk assurance by ensuring governance and validation of internal controls.
  • Responsible for developing and managing strategic vendor and partnership relationships.
  • Drives the execution of high-impact, enterprise wide, technology strategic programs or initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must have excellent organizational and strong leadership capability, executing as appropriate in the areas of responsibility.
  • Expertise in budget planning, financial management, strategy execution and workforce management.
  • Broad knowledge of current and emerging technologies, technology directions, and strategic application to business needs, including the ability to differentiate between a relevant trend and hype.
  • Ability to improve operational efficiency, service delivery and information management across the IT organization.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technology solutions in business terms, establish rapport and persuade others.

Minimum Education 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.

Minimum Years of Experience

  • 10+ years of IT and business/industry experience. Experience in business/industry (beyond IT), managing cross-functional teams or projects, and influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders required.
