POSITION SPECIFICS
The College of Engineering Dean’s Office is seeking an administrative support supervisor to support the executive leadership team. This staff leader will train and oversee support staff while providing administrative support to an executive team of administrators in faculty affairs, operations, and special projects by performing a wide range of complex, high-level, confidential, and sensitive projects. This role requires excellent leadership, professionalism, discretion, and the ability to anticipate needs and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, support, and coordinate the administrative processes in the Office of the Associate Dean for Faculty and the Office of the Assistant Dean for Operations
Coordinate meeting logistics, including scheduling, material preparation, and agendas
Compose, review, and distribute internal and external communications
Collect, organize, research, and analyze information and data to prepare reports, presentations, summaries, contracts, and proposals
Create and maintain files and databases
Serve as primary liaison and initiator with Finance HUBs for completion of budgetary, reporting, and complex financial transactions where needed
Resolve inquiries and ensure compliance with work unit and/or University policies and procedures
Coordinate work assignments of department/unit support employees to ensure efficient workflow and processes
MINIMUM EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
Associate Degree 4+ years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience accepted Required Certifications: None

Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities independently.
