Project Manager, Engineering & Fulfillment LP

 

Your Skills

The Project Manager, Engineering & Fulfillment LP is responsible for the daily management of a team of up to 5 engineers and supply chain specialists in the fulfillment of Large Project High-Rise engineering and supply chain. 

 

The position will engage and remain a link throughout the project life cycle, driving project execution and delivery in the areas of mechanical, electrical, layout, supply chain, and project management.

• Workload Management: Lead the transition of projects from sales into engineering for assigned High-Rise Large Projects. Manage engineering and supply chain workload to ensure on time delivery of product.
•  Deliverable Management: Responsible for the on-time performance of all engineering and supply chain deliverables (layouts, submittals, timely receipt of material, processing of warranty/claim materials).
•  Customer and Employee Experience Initiatives

 

Scope of Responsibility:

• Serve as a single point of contact for field operations on assigned High-Rise Large Projects.
• Responsible for managing the on-time performance of deliverables of assigned High-Rise Large Projects (layouts, submittals, timely receipt of material, processing of warranty/claim materials). 
• Responsible for the oversight of factory cost to complete forecasting for assigned High-Rise Large Projects.
•  Participate in sales efforts of Large Projects as needed.
• Responsible for all human resources and administrative functions of a cross-functional team of 3-5 direct reports.
• Strong advocate for employee culture, noting the success of an organization is directly related to the culture and employee engagement.

Your Experience

Education       

• Bachelors degree required, MBA or similar is preferred

 

Experience      

• 2+ years of experience working with Large Projects in the construction industry, industry project/program management, and/or supply chain management
• Resource planning experience
• Experience working in cross functional roles across direct/indirect reports
• Experience in project cost forecasting, project management, and/or supply chain management

Skills  

• Computer skills – Microsoft Office, MS-Project, and SAP
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people with diverse backgrounds
• Ability to develop and maintain positive, cooperative, team-oriented relationships
• Strong business acumen, project management planning

Special Requirements 

• Travel 10%-15% - domestic
