Maintenance Mechanic 3

Short Description:

• Maintenance Mechanic 3 is an experienced and highly skilled tradesman. This individual should have extensive knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems, advanced problem-solving abilities, and the capability to lead projects and mentor other Maintenance Mechanic positions. A Maintenance Mechanic 3 is responsible for overseeing complex installations, repairs, and maintenance of utility systems. This position assists in recommending policies, procedures, and objectives of all utilities equipment testing and maintenance. 

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead and execute the installation, repair, and maintenance of infrastructure systems. This includes all plumbing and mechanical systems.
2. Conduct thorough inspections, of plumbing systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
3. Interpret and create blueprints and building specifications for plumbing layouts.
4. Collaborate with contractors, electricians, and other construction professionals to ensure proper installation of utility systems.
5. Perform advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve complex plumbing problems.
6. Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and regulations.
7. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
8. Provide mentorship and training to junior mechanics.
9. Respond to emergency plumbing calls and provide timely and effective solutions. 
10. Assesses equipment performance and operation appraisals of plumbing and mechanical systems to ensure appropriate preventive maintenance is provided. 

 

Job Qualifications:

Experience Minimum of 5 years of relevant healthcare experience.
Education: Hight School Diploma
Skills and Abilities: Ability to use independent judgement, diplomacy, initiative, ingenuity, memory for details, organizational skills, and verbal and written communication is needed.
