SUMMARYThe Assistant Director of Housekeeping (“Subdirector(a) de Limpieza”) primary objective is to guarantee that all guests at The Lodge at Torrey Pines experience pristine accommodations. This role involves collaboration with all departments to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and to consistently exceed expectations. Building strong personal rapport with both guests and housekeeping staff is essential. Assist the Director of Housekeeping in maintaining up-to-date monthly supplies and inventory. Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms and resort areas, collaborating closely with the Engineering and Front Desk teams. Being bilingual in English and Spanish is crucial for effective training and communication in a diverse environment. It enhances understanding, collaboration, and overall productivity among team members.  Manage daily operations within the housekeeping department. A minimum of two to four years of progressive housekeeping experience within a full-service or resort hospitality environment is required.

• Compensation: $68,640 - 86,496 DOE**

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Projects professionalism and courtesy to our guests and associates. 
• Training and enforcement of AAA standards to provide a consistent high level of service. 
• Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, high employee morale, motivation, and open communication. 
• Maximize day-to-day work productivity  
• Ensuring that all equipment is maintained and in good working condition  
• Coaches and directs employees to achieve department goals. 
• Maintains consistency of weekly and monthly inventories to place orders of any needs in a timely manner.  
• Conducts inspections and walk-throughs of guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-the-house areas to ensure the consistent cleanlines
