Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (AS) sector is seeking a Director, Subcontracts 2 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals on our Global Supply Chain team. This position manages a workforce deployed at multiple sites across the United States and will be located onsite in Melbourne, Florida.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 15 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, proposals, procurement, business management, contracts, engineering or subcontracts OR a Master’s Degree and 13 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, proposals, procurement, business management, contracts, engineering or subcontracts
- 5 years’ experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
- Experience working with international and domestic suppliers
- Government Contracting Experience (FAR, DFARS) and terms and conditions, contract types and associated geometry
- Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated government Secret clearance, and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company, and the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance

- Negotiation and organizational skills
- Direct experience in working with capture teams in developing and submitting compliant new business offers
- Demonstrated strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to model and promote a strong sense of engagement, teamwork and cooperation
- The ability to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while demonstrating a professional attitude
- The ability to lead and influence internal and external customers
