We also embrace diversity by valuing the uniqueness of each individual and being committed to equal opportunities for all.<br/>  </p> <h2>Your Tasks</h2> <p>Within our Corporate R&amp;D Headquarters, this position in the Product Safety team is responsible for toxicological evaluations and safety assessments of our cosmetic products that ensure a high level of consumer protection.</p> <p>The candidate will join an experienced team of safety assessors. The candidate will collaborate with R&amp;D teams and interact proactively with stakeholders in Legal, Marketing and Supply Chain.</p> <p><br/> Main responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Toxicological evaluations of raw materials and safety assessments of cosmetic formulations and finished cosmetic products</li> <li>Support product developers, formulators, toxicologists and other experts in upstream initiatives for the development of new ingredients, formulations and products</li> <li>Application of new approach methodologies for hazard identification and safety assessment, with planning of studies and guidance on safety communications</li> <li>Participation in trade association activities in areas of toxicology and risk assessment for regulatory submissions and product defense</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Your Profile</h2> <ul> <li>Diploma, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD in natural science (biology, chemistry, etc.), dermatology, medicine, pharmacology, or toxicology </li> <li>ERT, DABT, DGK or other certification for toxicology or product safety assessment desired but not a must have</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills as required for internal and external collaborations</li> <li>Open, global mindset characterized by positivity, flexibility, and adaptability with agile thinking</li> <li>Ability to cope with stress and dynamic changes of the business environment </li> <li>Fluency in English, and ideally a good knowledge of German </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Please apply in English only.</p> <p>At Beiersdorf, we embrace Diversity and aim to provide equal opportunities to all of our applicants – regardless of e.g. gender, sexual identity, nationality, ethnicity, religion or ideology, disability or age.
