Parsons is seeking a PMO Director to integrate and achieve overall program success as the Systems Integrator in delivering the FAA/DOT/Administration’s brand new Air Traffic Control System. 

 

Preference is for candidates located in the National Capital Region (NCR). Parsons will consider remote/hybrid employees with the expectation of 75% travel to the NCR.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Establishing a robust PMO with support functions to ensure the success of all supported programs
• Establishing efficient, repeatable processes applicable across all supported programs
• Collaborate with government stakeholders
• Manage program risks and helping the program management team develop comprehensive risk-management processes for the project
• Developing in-depth knowledge of program objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies
• Ensure the PMO team establishes the program templates for all CDRLs, events, and partner communications to provide high quality and consistent messaging and branding across all programs
• Mobilizing company resources to create project teams capable of completing effective, quality work
• Working with other managers, technical teams, and discipline leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans for the PMO and ensure that the team meets or exceeds goals established in these plans
• Monitoring and reporting to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions which would affect project cost or schedule

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, related field, or relevant work experience,
• Exceptional leadership, mentoring, communication, relationship management, and strategic planning skills are essential.
• 25+ years proven experience in program and project management, plus demonstrated experience leading a PMO.
• Experience managing programs or PMOs of significant size and complexity (multi-billion dollar in total scope)
• Business development or capture management experience

• Recent and relevant experience supporting the FAA or other Aviation Agencies or Departments globally
