Join our team as a Cybersecurity Supervisor, where you will lead the charge in safeguarding AT&T's infrastructure and data. In this pivotal role, you'll ensure robust protection for AT&T, our customers, and our vendors/partners. You'll oversee and guide a team of 15 expert cybersecurity professionals, managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the seamless execution of various projects aimed at securing our customers, assets, data, IT systems, and networks. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our cybersecurity defenses.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Team Management:
- Effectively manage and guide a team of cybersecurity experts, ensuring efficient workflow and task completion.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure program operations are maintained supporting AT&T's broader cybersecurity and business objectives.
Strategic Impact:
- Maintain momentum on key security hardening initiatives to safeguard our infrastructure and operations.
- Mentor and develop a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering continuous learning and career development.
- Equip team members with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
- Keep team members updated with the latest security practices and technological advancements.
- Create strategic roadmaps and enhance solutions to identify and mitigate sensitive data risks.
Technical Oversight:
- Provide guidance and support for diverse solution portfolio.
Project Management:
- Lead and manage significant projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
Customer Service:
- Deliver exceptional customer service in a technical and fast-paced environment.
- Promptly address and resolve escalated issues to minimize operational disruptions.
Security Enforcement:
- Implement and enforce best practices in data loss prevention technologies.
- Ensure compliance with security policies to protect organizational assets.
Business Integration:
- Understand security operations, business services, data centers, networking, and audit requirements.
- Align cybersecurity initiatives with business goals, enhancing operational efficiency and security.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Interact with vendors, external partners, application development teams, technical support, and leadership.
- Provide technical assessments, analysis, and problem-solving expertise to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and issue resolution.
- Showcase program effectiveness through consistent metric reporting.
On-Call Support:
- Provide 24x7 on-call leadership support as required to address urgent security issues and maintain operational continuity.
Risk Management:
- Diagnosing and resolving potential security risks, outages, and other critical events.
- Continual review of the security infrastructure/services and lead efforts to improve protection of our intellectual property assets and operational resilience.
Qualifications:
- Preferred Masters degree in Information Systems, Engineering or Cyber Security related fields.
- Requires 8-10 years of related experience.
- 3-5 years of experience managing highly technical security teams preferred.
- 8-10 years of experience in cybersecurity.
- Industry best Data Loss Prevention platform expertise
- Microsoft Purview DLP expertise
- DLP Security Engineering, support, operations, and remediation
- Expertise in delivering and managing Cybersecurity or IT programs in a large enterprise
- Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing strategic roadmaps
- Strong knowledge of Insider Threat and Data Loss Prevention
- Understanding of data protection and privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 cloud and encryption technologies.
