The Opportunity

In this role you will follow proper process and procedures to specification outlined for each specific order. 

The Team

You will work both independently and as a team member to assemble products according to specifications and drawings by using various hand tools. This position will report directly to a Production Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assemble materials using hand and power tools
• Propose potential quality or productivity enhancements
• Review of finish parts to ensure accuracy against drawings
• Read and understand blueprints, specifications and drawings
• Working safely and efficiently, following safety rules and standard operating procedures
• Communicate with maintenance or engineering personnel regarding setup of equipment and technical issues
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven ability to work safely
• Stand for long periods of time
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Team orientated, flexible attitude and a willingness to perform a variety of tasks
• Basic mathematics (addition, subtraction)
• Complete repetitive tasks
• Work in fast paced department
• Completion of grade 12 or GED
• Exemplary attendance record
• Production experience an asset
