The College of Health and Public Service (HPS) at the University of North Texas, distinguished as one of the few Tier One research universities designated as a Hispanic-Serving Institution (HSI), prepares graduates to address diverse and complex social issues such as aging, disability, disaster management and recovery, criminal justice, health disparities, and public safety, and find solutions to challenges in public administration, public health, and urban planning. Position Overview
The Criminal Justice Department Senior Administrative Specialist provides support to the academic department and Chair, including acting as a liaison with College of Health & Public Service and UNT-wide offices. Responsibilities include providing a wide variety of administrative support to the Chair and other faculty, such as coordination of class scheduling and textbook adoptions, facilitation of program communications for the degrees, coordination of student employment requests, management of departmental tasks related to admissions and registration, maintenance of departmental and student records, execution of correspondence and calendar maintenance, requests for purchasing, payroll, and other financial support from the college, and m
