Grounds Team Member duties include but are not limited to watering plants, weed whacking, trash removal, following safety regulations, and performing various cleaning tasks. Roles & Responsibilities:
Workamper Information:
This program is for people who want to live and work at Lake Compounce Amusement Park & Campground during the season (May to the end of December).
Move-in day is May 1, 2025
Must have an RV to participate: workampers are provided one partial hookup RV site, including water and electricity
Workers must be at least 18 years old or accompanied by an adult
Workampers live in the Lake Compounce campground with access to amenities like laundry, restrooms, showers, and Wi-Fi
Workers are required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week during peak season (May 1 – Nov 1) to stay for free
Wages vary by department and position
Lake Compounce provides uniform shirts
Workers will use a scheduling software called Quinyx to view their work schedules
The campground is within walking distance of the park, but workers may opt to drive their vehicle to the employee parking lot
All campground occupants must follow the campground rules at all times
Lake Compounce Campground reserves the right to require a Workamper to change campsite assignments for any reason

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Envision and create artistic landscapes that are pleasing and visually appealing to guests.
Assist with general repair and maintenance of park grounds, including, but not limited to, landscaping and midway clean up
Maintain compliance with company and industry best practices, policies, and procedures to create a safe environment for colleagues and guests
Perform a wide variety of landscaping functions, including watering, weed whacking, pruning, trimming topiaries, leaf raking, and lawnmowing
Assist with the removal of trash, brush, branches, and trees
Assist with snow removal and salting roadways and walkways
Maintain waterways, ponds, decorative pools, and fountains, as needed
Assist with the management of sanitation and recycling programs
Assist in site preparation, plantings (all plant types – from large trees to small annuals), mulch and topsoil application, loading and unloading mate
