About the role

This Physical Security Specialist at Pandora is responsible for safeguarding the company’s assets, employees, and customers across North America by supporting critical safety, security, and loss prevention initiatives. This role involves conducting security investigations, optimizing physical security systems such as CCTV, and ensuring that security measures align with both regional and global standards.

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

  • Colleague Safety, Loss Prevention & Profit Protection:
    • Conduct security investigations involving theft, robbery, burglary, assault, and other incidents affecting Pandora’s North America operations.Support the North America Loss Prevention team’s objectives, aligning them with Pandora’s global security strategy.
  • CCTV & Physical Security Optimization:
    • Evaluate and implement best practices for the deployment and management of CCTV systems across 450+ stores in North America. Provide recommendations to enhance surveillance and physical security infrastructure to protect assets and colleagues.
  • Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including retail operations, manufacturing, and distribution, to communicate risks and propose solutions. Build strong relationships with external intelligence providers and industry networks to ensure timely and accurate data flow.
  • Proactive Threat Mitigation:
    • Develop and maintain systems and processes for monitoring global risks. Contribute to the development of protocols and procedures for responding to security incidents and mitigating risks.

 

KPI's:

 

  • Optimized CCTV and physical security infrastructure based on the latest security standards.
  • Reduce loss incidents (e.g., theft, fraud) across North American stores as a result of implemented security measures and investigations.
  • Ensure new store openings fully implement security systems and protocols according to Pandora’s global security standards.

 

Experience and background:

 

  • Proven experience in retail loss prevention, physical security, or investigations.
  • A track record of conducting and managing security investigations involving theft, fraud, or safety incidents.
  • Expertise in CCTV systems and other physical security technologies, with the ability to assess and optimize their use.

 

Personal Competancies:

 

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting and stakeholder engagement.
  • High integrity and discretion when handling sensitive investigations.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to travel as required across North America to support stores and security initiatives.
  • Knowledge of physical security measures and protocols specifically related to North America.
