Summary: Enru Logistics is looking for a Part-Time Forklift Operator. This role sits on-site in York, PA, USA. In this role you will provide safe and accurate operation of a forklift while performing the following responsibilities: loading and unloading trailers, verifying skid quantities, placing, and removing merchandise from racks, maintaining a clean workplace.

Responsibilities:
• Pass forklift certification and safety test.
• Perform safety checks on forklift.
• May recharge batteries or replace liquefied-gas tanks.
• Understand the use of RF equipment.
• Understand the basic knowledge of loading and unloading procedures.
• Unload trailers and verify contents.
• Place product in racks accurately using RF equipment.
• Load trailers accurately using RF process.
• Responsible for inventory control, tracking, and reporting inventory utilizing material management systems.
• Organize and assign storage space utilized in warehousing and moving material to other departments.
• Clear and courteous communication with dock supervisor, dock lead, and office.
• Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.

Position Specific Details:
• 1st Shift- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Qualifications:
• (1) year experience in warehousing, manufacturing, shipping, or related industry.
• Experience operating machinery, hand tools, and the necessary safety requirements.
• Skill to read and understand instructions to fulfill each individual job.
• Works well under pressure and is capable of handling high-volume tasks.
• A team player who works well with others.
• Proven experience in the handling of controls for driving forklift.
• Must be skilled in handling controls for starting, stopping, backings, and driving forklift trucks through narrow aisles in building, up and down ramps, and in and out of railroad cars, trucks, etc.; and, for lifting, lowering, and tilting forks by moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to operate controls.
• Must know how high, wide, and long the forklift truck and its load are, and how much the forklift truck can lift.
• Good spatial ability to identify how high and wide a doorway and an aisle must be to drive the forklift truck and its load; how high and wide the shelf, bin, etc., must be to place the load; and how high the load must be lifted to reach the shelf or bin.
• Must be able to recognize whether the forklift truck is able to lift the load and whether the load is properly balanced.
• Skilled in moving forklift trucks about in places where there is very little room to stack or remove loads.
• Job requires ability to exert 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
• Job requires the ability to read instructions in English and/or Spanish
• Additional job requirements may be listed outside the staffing requisition.
