About the team
The growth strategy team works at the intersection of product and marketing to identify, test and optimize new demand channels, in-product customer journeys and 3rd party partnerships that unlock new customers or enhance our product offering. This team reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer with a dotted line to the Chief Product Officer.
What you’ll do
As the Senior Manager, Growth Product Strategy you will identify and operationalize the highest impact new growth opportunities for Angi. Your remit will span acquisition, conversion and retention for both sides of our marketplace (homeowners and service professionals). With the support of functional partners in marketing, product and sales, you’ll run data driven experiments and scale the winners. You’ll build the playbooks to unlock Angi’s next phase of growth.
- Acquisition: Build and execute the strategy to unlock new customer acquisition channels at or above target ROAS.
- Conversion: Own the customer journey from first touch through the funnel to improve how we turn prospects into satisfied customers. Focus on journey, messaging and UX to identify, test and roll out improvements in partnership with the product team.
- Customer Retention: Identify partnership opportunities to improve the homeowner and Pro product experience to reduce churn and increase LTV.
- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research, from building models to inform decision- making to conducting market research and performing competitive analyses to provide thought partnership to cross-functional partners (Marketing, Product, Category Managers, Design, Engineering).
- Build clear and concise presentations that summarize your findings and lead to clear recommendations.
- Test hypotheses quickly! Independently drive special projects and new initiatives, from initial concept through execution and success measurement. These will include projects to grow qualified leads and improve conversion rate, customer engagement, and service pro retention.
Who you are
- You have 4-6 years of professional experience in a rigorous field, with a track record of success
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with a focus in an analytical field.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and aptitude, with significant experience framing up analyses independently
- A do-er at heart. Significant experience executing impact driving initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of Excel required, experience with SQL is a plus
- Demonstrated experience gathering data from various sources and driving strategic insight
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail
- Management consulting experience at a top firm strongly preferred. Experience with marketplaces or past start-up experience is a plus
- A strong interest in Angi, home services, marketplaces and product-driven organizations

Compensation & Benefits
- The salary band for this position ranges $120,000-$140,000 commensurate with experience and performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as cost of living.
