Compensation: $112,000 - $150,000 per year. You are eligible for a Short-Term Incentive Plan with the target at 10% of your annual earnings; terms and conditions apply.

Manager, Deployment Services – Remote US or Hybrid in Aliso Viejo, CA

The Manager of Deployment Services is responsible for leading a high-performing team of Deployment Managers (DMs) to ensure the successful technical onboarding and launch of Ambry’s Digital Solutions, including the CARE platform, EMR integrations, and future digital offerings. This role is critical in managing client-facing deployment projects, maintaining high standards for execution, and advancing Ambry’s digital transformation across healthcare systems. 

The purpose of this role is to drive results through effective team management, using clear metrics to evaluate performance and deliver scalable, repeatable outcomes. The manager is responsible for building and developing team capabilities to support organizational growth, ensuring the team is aligned with evolving strategic objectives. By fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration, this role helps position Deployment Services as a key enabler of Ambry’s digital health strategy. 

 Essential Functions

  • Hire, onboard, coach, and manage direct reports, including field shadowing and career development support 
  • Allocate team resources to client projects based on scope, availability, and geography 
  • Oversee deployment project timelines and resourcing for all digital solutions, including CARE and EMR integrations 
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for scalable deployment execution 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Application Delivery, Product Management, and other teams to ensure alignment on digital initiatives 
  • Track and report on team performance metrics and project outcomes 
  • Lead departmental improvement efforts to enhance quality, efficiency, and client satisfaction 
  • Maintain strong knowledge of integration types and healthcare workflows to support strategic planning 
  • Provide support on select, high-priority client projects, particularly during escalations or high complexity 
  • Ensure effective handoffs between pre-sales, implementation, and post-go-live support teams 
  • Represent Deployment Services leadership in internal and external meetings, as needed 
  • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in EMR integrations, healthcare IT implementation, or project management 
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required 
    • Proven experience coaching and developing high-performing teams 
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment 
    • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills with internal teams and external clients 
    • Familiarity with integration technologies (APIs, HL7, FHIR, SFTP) and EMR systems 
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on execution 
    • Experience working with healthcare systems, providers, and executive stakeholders 
    • Demonstrated digital literacy (e.g., MS Office, Teams, Visio, Salesforce, project management tools) 
    • Willingness and ability to travel regularly across the US

    Preferred

    • Master’s degree in healthcare, business, or a related field 
    • PMP or other project management certification 
    • Experience with genetic testing, laboratory services, or digital health platforms 
    • Prior experience managing virtual or geographically distributed teams 
    • Knowledge of digital transformation strategies in healthcare
