Relief Plant Supervisor

Purpose of the role

To work within a busy production framework responsible for the safe, ethical and efficient supervision of all the operations within the site, being enthusiastic and self-motivated, able to work on your own initiative as well as being able to implement company policy and procedures ensuring Heidelberg Materials UK are fully compliant. To be the vital link in motivating the plant staff both by your actions and being flexible in your approach to ensure customer requirements are achieved in a constantly changing environment.

• To comply with all aspects of the Heidelberg Materials UK Compliance Policy

• To ensure that all operations are performed in accordance with instructions and procedures as stated by Heidelberg Materials UK Project Management

• To comply with the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974 and to observe the requirements of the Company Safety Policy and other relevant legislation

• To update all areas of knowledge as required to carry out the job with maximum effectiveness and to attend training/development courses as and when required

• To comply will all aspects of the HR Policies and Procedures of the Company
