Our services relate to all types of services, both private and corporate customer segments and to all group functions. </p> <p> </p> <p>As a Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel, you will be providing high quality legal services in close cooperation with other lawyers in a transforming business and challenging regulatory environment.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is a generalist role where you will provide legal support in legal aspects that are relevant to Nordea’s branch in Denmark but also support the overall functions of Nordea. In your daily tasks, you will focus especially on financial crime prevention but you will also be expected to positively contribute within other regulatory areas. <br/> <br/> What you’ll be doing:</p> <p>•    Support business areas, group functions and senior leadership teams by providing professional legal advice and guidance in relation to the various issues which arise from the day-to-day operations and business.<br/> •     Assessing and advising on the applicability and implementation of the group’s internal policies and guidelines.<br/> •     Tracking of new regulations and markets practices applicable to the Danish branch.<br/> •     Advocacy work and local dispute management.<br/> •     Participating and managing cross functional regulatory forums and projects in close collaboration with colleagues across the legal department and other group functions. <br/>  </p> <p>Welcome to a legal team of highly skilled and passionate subject matter experts with great cross country collaboration and a unique competence base. The role is based in Copenhagen.<br/> <br/> Who you are<br/> <br/> Collaboration.
