FPSI Academy General Instructor Opportunity 

Tallahassee State College is excited to announce openings for the position of  FPSI Academy General Instructor - Law Enforcement at the Florida Public Safety Institute. We’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to fostering a vibrant campus community.  

What You’ll Do 
The Florida Public Safety Institute is looking for Law Enforcement Instructors to instruct in Basic Recruit Training courses 

•  Instruct general topics in the Basic Law Enforcement Recruit Training Program. 

• Participate in scenario training and classroom discussion. 

Who We’re Looking For 
We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate must: 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 

• Criminal Justice Standards Training Commission (CJSTC) Current General Instructor Certification. 

• Knowledge of the following: State of Florida Criminal Justices Standards and Training rules and regulations, 

• Minimum of 4 years Law Enforcement 

FDLE Instructor Exemptions may be made on a case-by-case basis if you qualify. 

Work Schedule:  Hours may vary. Part-Time, 10 – 30 hours a week
