We're seeking an Information Security Analyst. The qualified candidate will assist in safeguarding the confidentiality and integrity of customer, employee, and business information, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards. The Analyst will support day-to-day data analysis and reporting, security awareness, security governance, event/incident investigation, security control assessment, customer due diligence, and other information security related activities. The analyst will work cross functionally to mitigate risks and vulnerabilities across the firm.

Essential Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, implementing, and reporting on security awareness campaigns.
• Support user awareness training and phishing simulations.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with Information Security program, policies, procedures, guidelines, and standards.
• Assist in incident response and maintain security documentation.
• Monitor metrics in security tools to detect anomalies and trends.
• Review data loss prevention alerts for policy compliance.
• Perform security governance tasks as needed.
• Assist in answering due diligence requests regarding the Firm’s information security program.
• Assist with security controls review and mitigation.
• Organize and maintain a centralized location for information security documents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity.
• 1+ year(s) of Information Security analyst experience.
• Familiarity with basic security concepts such as firewalls, malware, authentication, encryption, etc.
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and a willingness to learn.
• Information Security certifications preferred
• Familiarity with data security frameworks.
• Strong communication, technical, analytical, and administrative skills.
• Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Self-motivated, ability to multitask, and demonstrates flexibility.
• Effective time management skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Project management experience, a plus.
• Travel Required: Occasional 0-5%
• The role is based in Chicago.
• Work is regularly performed in a hybrid environment – with the expectation of being in the Chicago office at least 3 days a week, or more as needed, and from home, and routinely uses standard office equipment.
• It may require the maintenance of a home office.

This role is eligible for either a discretionary annual bonus (based on company, business unit and individual performance) and/or commission-based incentives.
