Position Summary
CVS Caremark is seeking a Retail Pricing Compliance Manager to join our Retail Pricing team. The Retail Pricing team develops and executes retail pricing strategies across more than 8,000 front-store locations. Your team partners closely with Category Management to ensure pricing strategies are tightly aligned with overall business objectives and category-specific goals and strategies.
The Retail Pricing Compliance Manager will play a critical role in maintaining pricing accuracy, ensuring adherence to established policies and compliance standards, and supporting continuous improvement within our pricing operations. You will report to the Director of Pricing Operations and Compliance.
Responsibilities:
Establish quarterly audit requirements to ensure accuracy and compliance using SOX Audit testing methods.
Measure Pricing Team compliance with established requirements on a daily, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Maintain a daily COG audit to ensure all cost change activity is accurate and within internal guidelines.
Identify and develop process improvements to ensure Pricing Team adheres to internal audit controls and guidelines.
Develop new reporting for Price Advisor application to measure and track compliance with internal SLAs and audit requirements.
Identify risks and recommend process improvements to mitigate potential compliance risk by collaborating with the Pricing Team for all systems. (COG, Price Advisor, etc.)
Continuously improve the audit process by updating reports and queries to achieve more efficient results.
Manage and coordinate weekly states of emergency activity across the chain of command by interpretation of complex regulations and providing guidance and oversight to the team.
Manage post-inventory scanner accuracy reporting, communicating with Inventory & Store Operations to update monthly metrics. Post-inventory scanner accuracy is added to the field compliance report, which feeds the store performance review.
Partner with Legal, Business Compliance, and Merchandising on matters of pricing compliance. Lead all aspects of the various shelf label types and compliance within each jurisdiction where CVS has store locations.
Subject Matter Expert for all forms of Unit of Measure in compliance with Weight and Measures Regulations.
Collaborate with Store Operations on changes and process or systemic updates to better assist stores with price change and scanner accuracy compliance, a key store metric.
Contribute to internal pricing department and/or cross-functional projects that may include process improvement, technology development, marketing communications, store execution, etc.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in project leadership, business analysis, and strategy development in a retail, consulting, or consumer-packaged goods environment.
Proven project leadership experience, with the ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple concurrent initiatives that have significant financial impact.
Demonstrable strategic thinking and analytical skills, measured by the ability to synthesize facts and insights into concrete, actionable recommendations.
Excellent communicator, both verbal and written, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
Must live within a commutable distance to Woonsocket, RI. Schedule is hybrid with in-office days.
Preferred Qualifications
Results driven, with a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Advanced use of MS Access, SQL.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Science, Mathematics, or Economics required, or equivalent work experience

The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
