Job Description

Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a Data Administrator to work in their Avian studies department in Easton, MD.  The applicant will review and manage data collected from scientific studies. This individual must be comfortable working with and supporting a team and have good skills in electronic data collection and monitoring.  The applicant will assist in reviewing data and writing reports.

Data Administrator Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Electronic data collection and review.
• Review raw data and calculations to verify accuracy, integrity, and compliance with GLP’s SOP’s and study protocols.
• Proofread and edit documents
• Assist in writing reports.  Utilize excellent grammar and writing skills and knowledge of sentence structure.
• Effectively communicate with peer staff, study sponsors, and quality assurance representatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

• Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
• Ability to learn and adapt to electronic data collection programs, work on multiple tasks simultaneously

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Science, Communications, English, or other related degree concentration.
• Experience in technical writing, preferably in a scientific environment.
• Good Laboratory Practice standards experience a plus.
• Must be comfortable around birds and a laboratory work environment.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton, MD are encouraged to apply.
