Job Overview

We are seeking a Specialist Quality Engineer to join our team in West Palm Beach, FL.

Essential Functions

Proposal & Contract Review

Primary or Secondary Support of Proposals including COE Risk Assessment

Create/Update of Customer/Contract Specific Program Quality Requirements Summary

Program Management Support

Serve as Cost Account Management, as delegated by Program Management Office

Author Program Management Instructions / Program Directives for Quality related topics (Risk Ranking, APQP, MIP, etc.)

Bring the full breadth and capability of Quality Management System to support the programs

Customer Interfacing Quality

Serve as Corrective Action Report Lead

Customer Escape Quarterly Review

Pedigree Review / RFI Responses / Readiness Reviews

Alt Chair for Program Corrective Action Board

Hardware Acceptance Review (In-Brief, CoC Signoff)

Interface with customer quality organization leadership and support/lead Quality management reviews and Quality audits.

Design Review

Authorizing MRB Candidates

Serving on Design Review Board

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality or other appropriate discipline and nine (9) years of directly related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

May be required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance at the appropriate level.  Requires U.S. Citizenship. Must be able to satisfy federal government requirements for access to government information, and having dual citizenship may preclude you from being able to meet this requirement.

 

Additional Requirements:

• Experience leading diverse teams through a product lifecycle
• Experience leading root cause and corrective action investagations.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work within a close-knit team environment; highly motivated team player.
• Ability to analyze, evaluate and develop solutions to a variety of situations.
• Must consistently meet commitments.

Desired Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a related field
• APQP Experience

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Employees in these positions must possess mobility to work in a standard office setting and to use standard office equipment, including a computer; stamina to sit or stand and maintain attention to detail despite interruptions; may occasionally lift/carry/push/pull up to 25 pounds; may require occasional walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, and/or bendin
