🧑🏻‍💻 About the role

First things first: you want to know what you’re actually applying for. It’s impossible to capture every nuance of a role – especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews – but if we had to distill it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

Join our Events team as a Senior Software Engineer and help transform how hotels manage events and groups.

This is a backfill position supporting the restructure of our Front of House operations, where you'll work on high-impact initiatives that directly affect thousands of properties worldwide.

You'll be part of a team building the future of hospitality technology in a pre-IPO environment with significant growth opportunities.

✅ Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

• Design and develop software solutions focusing on high availability, scalability, and multi-regional support 
• Develop backend services using .NET Core and deploy on Azure using services such as App Service, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Redis
• Build frontend applications using React & Redux, JavaScript & TypeScript • Implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines using GitHub and Azure DevOps 
• Take ownership of projects and gradually assume ownership of product areas 
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications 

🤝️ You'll be a great fit if you bring a few of the below with you:

• Strong understanding of at least one core technology (.NET, React, CSS, Javascript, Microservices)
• Practical skills across multiple technologies (.NET, React, TypeScript, SQL, DevOps, CI/CD, SRE) 
• Demonstrated experience owning projects end-to-end 
• Experience with leading development teams (preferred)
• Effective communication in English 
• Experience with cloud platforms and scalable, distributed systems
