The L&OD Lead will design, implement, administer, and deliver training programs, practices, and procedures to all levels of the organization. The lead will provide ongoing consultation on Learning & Development research, learning theory and technologies, motivation theory, and instructional design. Partner with critical team members throughout the organization to develop specifications for course content and delivery. Will be involved in both the development and delivery of leadership and personal development training programs to Elastic employees.
What you will be doing:
You will facilitate Learning & Development as an instructor, designer, and internal consultant. Providing Learning & Development support across various content categories by designing, developing, and updating training on the LMS; including instructor-led training, videos, interactive eLearning, quick reference guides, etc. You will also recommend learning solutions that influence positive / behavioral change, align with strategic goals, and improve individual and organizational capability. You will develop recommendations for changes and improvements to Learning & Development processes and standards. A key responsibility will be to lead multiple L&OD projects to achieve strategic objectives. Ultimately, we design and deliver engaging learner experiences while fully using the capabilities of available learning technologies.
What you bring along:
A proven and established history of Learning & Development, to include behavior-based learning, learning partnering, program & project management concepts, practices, and processes. The ability to facilitate using industry standard methodologies with a strong focus on successful virtual delivery techniques is a must. This position requires advanced-level knowledge of industry standards, trends and emerging challenges from the perspective of people development. At least five years of training delivery experience, three years of instructional design experience and 3 years of performance consultancy experience. Proven history of program management to include use of various learning technologies such as an LMS or LXP.

Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary. This role does not have a variable compensation component.
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below. In select locations (including Seattle WA, Los Angeles CA, the San Francisco Bay Area CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
These ranges represent the lowest to highest salary we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the ranges may be modified in the future.
An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
