Administrator-Warranty/Parts

Job Summary

The Factory Service Center Parts and Warranty Administrator (P&W) reports to the Service Center Manager and is responsible for the operation of the stockroom. P&W sources, receives, inspects, and distributes parts and material for airplane maintenance, and facility operation, and collaborates with Service Center Manager, Service Advisor, and Team Leads to update statuses. The P&W is responsible for:

1. Ensuring incoming goods comply with purchase order.
2. Identifying, controlling, segregating, and maintaining all stock and tools to a serviceable or unserviceable category as designated by the Chief Inspector.
3. The preservation of all articles or parts, while carried in the inventory, including parts that are subject to deterioration.
4. Controlling the inventory for both the hangar floor and stockroom. 
5. Conducting inventory physical inspections and counts periodically.
6. Distributing to all pertinent departments any miscellaneous technical information, which is received by the stockroom.
7. Training the appropriate personnel in observing the safety precautions relevant to the functions for which they may be utilized. 
8. Initiating and tracking Procurement action based on departmental requisitions. 

NOTE: In his/her absence, the Parts and Tooling Administrator may delegate all duties to any qualified assistant, as necessary; however, such delegation does not relieve him/her of the overall responsibility.

1. Establishing and coordinating the interaction between the Parts department, other departments, and
2. Maintaining conformity with Work Rules, Regulations, and Safety.
3. Maintain current training in suspected unapproved parts and HazMat.
4. Work in conjunction with Chief Inspector to verify parts certification paperwork meets applicable requirements of CFR Part 211.

• Eight years’ recent experience in parts acquisition and management; buyer responsibilities and experience.
• Prior aviation experience a bonus.
• Ability to demonstrate sound judgement and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to effectively manage stress, including competing work demands and multiple projects at the same time.
