Job Description
As a valued colleague to our First Line Testing team, you will help identify, assess design, and test operating effectiveness of internal controls over risks that may threaten the Company’s reputation, safety, security, and/or financial success, as well as work with leadership to develop and implement strategic plans around assessment and testing of internal controls within the Finance division.

The Internal Controls - Lead Associate role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:
- Apply specialized business area knowledge and experience in identifying, assessing control design, and testing operating effectiveness of internal controls within the Finance division.
- Act as a source of knowledge related to internal controls by coaching junior staff and monitoring testing progress.
- Provide day-to-day project management oversight of senior associates and contractors (including project guidance and informal coaching).
- Conduct controls testing and first level review of work and documentation.
- Communicate project team and risk objectives; inspire and motivate team members to achieve results.
- Assist in the development and communication of periodic reports to management and leadership team.
Qualifications
THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
Minimum Required Experiences
- 4 years of internal controls testing, audit, and/or risk management
- Extensive knowledge of risks and controls
- Strong project management skills including ability to manage multiple tasks, self-prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Desired Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business administration, accounting, finance, information systems, computer science
- Audit and/or financial services experience highly preferred
- Strong consulting and influencing skills to work effectively at all levels
- Prior experience with Workiva, Archer, or other enterprise GRC equivalent
- One or more of the following certifications preferred: CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP
