Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Wet process engineer (electroplating, liftoff and wet etch) in manufacturing engineering team, supporting high-volume 24x7 wafer fab.
• Support production line to ensure smooth wafer processing and minimize work stoppage, wafer excursions, process control violation, and wafer hold.
• Performing root cause analysis for work stoppage and wafer excursions. Devise and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Focal point for continuous process improvement by working with other teams such as Manufacturing, Equipment, Development to improve process control, yield, cost, and product cycle time.
• Implement and maintain SPC/APC control schemes, support new product introduction, and new process/equipment qualifications.
• Documenting procedures, specifications, process changes, etc. and for providing training to manufacturing personnel.

Qualifications

REQUIRED

• MS or BS degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science or related fields. 
• 2 years hands-on experience in wet processing in a fab environment is preferred.

SKILLS

• Excellent communication skills with ability to work in a cross-functional team setting.
• Willingness to support manufacturing line during off-hours and weekends.
