This position will be remote within the United States with a preference to candidates in Utah that are able to come into the office 1-2 days per week.

You will lead team leaders and engineers to execute projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with cross-functional collaboration across product, architecture, and business leadership.

What You Will Do
- Lead and grow multiple engineering teams delivering mission-critical software to dental practices and their patients
- Directly oversee team leaders and influence engineering practices, technical execution, and outcomes across the organization
- Drive clarity, accountability, and alignment through effective communication of goals, priorities, and status to team members and stakeholders
- Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance management, and career development to attract and retain top talent
- Establish and enforce standards for software engineering, analysis, QA, and project delivery
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
- Partner with Product and UX to deliver customer-centric solutions that align with strategic initiatives
- Monitor and manage project scope, forecasts, risks, and budgets
- Promote mature DevOps practices, continuous integration/deployment, and test-driven development
Travel/Physical Demands
- Travel typically less than 10%
- Office environment with no special physical demands required

- Frontend: WinForms, WPF, WinUI
- Database: MS SQL Server
- DevOps & Tools: GitLab and Jira

- Experience with REST APIs, Java and AWS a plus
Qualifications
What You Will Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field preferred
- 10+ years of progressive software development experience with our tech stack, with 3+ years in people management
- Proven success leading distributed or hybrid engineering teams at scale
- Excellent knowledge of SDLC, including Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
- Ability to lead through influence, resolve conflict, and build consensus across functions
- Clear, empathetic communicator who thrives in collaborative environments
- Analytical, strategic thinker who can balance tech debt, innovation, and delivery
- Passionate about people development and organizational growth
