The Buyer is responsible for the timely procurement of pharmaceuticals, equipment, and supplies in accordance with guidelines of existing contracts and within current policies governing the purchasing. INTEGRIS Health is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

The Buyer responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Procures pharmaceuticals, supplies, and equipment on a routine or emergency basis by utilizing automated ordering devices or manual methods 
  • Ensures receipt of all orders and placement of these products into their appropriate location within the Pharmacy and the location 
  • Verifies and processes all invoices, purchase orders, receipts, and stock requisitions within the department 
  • Maintains system of all purchase transactions, current contracts, ordering information, usage information, federal forms and company catalogs 
  • Operates the cash register, receiving funds in payment of prescription, OTC sales, and other purchases 

The Buyer reports to Pharmacy Supervisor and Administrator Samaritan Home Care (Samaritan Home Care only).

  • 3 years purchasing or Pharmacy related field 
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in English
