We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as the Director, AI Workload Analysis and Infrastructure Development. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the workload analysis processes and managing the development and maintenance of the tooling infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a background in workload analysis, AI technologies, and infrastructure management.

Responsibilities

 

Workload Analysis Leadership:

  • Lead the workload analysis team in assessing and understanding the requirements of AI workloads.
  • Collaborate with Silicon Architecture team to map the workload into the hardware.
  • Collaborate with other partner teams to map the workload into different usage.
  • Conduct performance analysis and correlation to ensure efficient resource utilization.

AI Infrastructure Development:

  • Manage the design, development, and deployment of the Workload (WL) analysis tooling infrastructure to support various projects and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with verification team, high level modeling team, and performance modeling team to develop tooling needed for the various usage.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure seamless integration with existing systems.

Team Management:

  • Build and lead a high-performing team, providing guidance and support for workload analysis and infrastructure projects.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of related technical engineering experience
    • OR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 5+ years technical engineering experience or internship experience
    • OR Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 3+ years technical engineering experience
    • OR Doctorate degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience.

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: 

  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 14+ years technical engineering experience
