Role:
The Pharmacy Technician plays a vital role in the efficient operation of the Health Center's pharmacy. This position works under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist to perform various duties related to medication preparation, inventory management, receiving and sending prescriptions, insurance claims, and customer service.
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all minimum requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
Minimum Requirements:
Experience: On-the-job training is available for this position. May not possess any felony convictions and must not be listed on the OIG list of Excluded Individuals.
Education: HS Diploma/GED. Current Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) from a nationally recognized certification board or willing to obtain within 6 months of Hire. Must have BCLS (Basic CPR Life Support) or willing to obtain within one year of hire.
