Your New Role…

This position serves as the business conduit between finance, data analytics, consumer research, and third-party partners. This role provides deep insights into market trends, customer behavior, and competitive dynamics enabling data-driven decision making. Additionally, this role is responsible for the Digital Business revenue and subscriber forecast.

Your Role Accountabilities...

  • Analyze industry, sales, market, consumer, and overall business data to identify trends and insights to inform business strategies and identify opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that track key metrics and provide a clear view of performance and trends.

  • Help the organization move from descriptive to predictive and prescriptive analytics, providing more forward-looking insights.

  • Work with data and tech teams to enhance data collection methods and maintain a deep understanding of the company's data infrastructure.

  • Serve as the go-to expert of the digital business performance and projections.

  • Own the overall digital business revenue forecasts, inclusive of first party businesses and third party partners, working with marketing, business development, sales, and product for corresponding inputs and targets.

  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of content, marketing, sales, product, and other business initiatives, attributing KPIs to revenue and subscriber goals.

  • Identify gaps and opportunities and work cross-functionally to address, as needed.

  • Establish a continuous learning environment inclusive of clear upfront targets and expectations, followed by hindsight recaps and improvements.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Experience…


Work Experience

  • At least four (4) years of relevant work experience in financial planning, sales planning, data analysis, and/or business intelligence required.

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, marketing, data analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.

Knowledge and Skills

  • Must have strong analytical skills and the advanced ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.

  • Must have expertise in creating financial models, scenario planning, and projecting business impact based on planned initiatives and industry landscape.

  • Must have the ability to translate complex data into understandable insights for non-technical stakeholders.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively and tactfully (both verbally and in writing) with individuals at all levels of the organization.

  • Must be able to organize effectively and pay close attention to details.

  • Must be able to work well under time constraints, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks and project elements simultaneously.

  • Must have advanced proficiency using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to present insights clearly and compellingly.

  • Must have advanced technical proficiency and experience with data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and a solid understanding of data management practices.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency using Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat required.

  • Knowledge of publishing/comic book industry preferred.
