JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

UHS Pharmacy is currently looking to hire three part-time Customer Service Representatives (Pharmacy Customer Service Support). This individual will work up to 20 hours per week with occasional Saturdays. These positions are a great opportunity for those seeking to gain experience into the healthcare field.

Responsibilities include: 

  • intake and sale of prescriptions

  • processing charges for prescriptions and OTC merchandise

  • collecting payments in the form of cash, check, and credit card

  • providing receipts

  • checking the status of student accounts and collecting personal information

  • counting and recording all cash/charge records and files

  • answering calls

  • greeting and providing appropriate information and exceptional customer service to all patients

The Customer Service Representative must follow all state and federal laws pertaining to the practice of pharmacy including HIPAA and follow all established operating procedures. 

Typically requires a high school diploma or higher plus one year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Pharmacy experience is a plus. The ideal candidate will be outgoing and friendly, have exceptional customer service skills, and be willing to work as part of a team. The UHS Pharmacy is a fast-paced, busy work environment, therefore, organizational skills and attention to detail are extremely important.
