Field / Process Engineer

MetroSys is seeking a detail-oriented Field/Process Engineer to support engineering operations with equipment identification, data management, and process mapping. The engineer will play a key role in documenting and updating critical asset information to ensure effective maintenance planning, spare parts availability, and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify ancillary and support equipment across various systems and processes.

• Establish and document parent/child relationships between equipment for accurate system hierarchy and traceability.

• Update and maintain the Master Equipment List (MEL) and related engineering databases.

• Identify and document required spare parts for all equipment to ensure proper inventory support.

• Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and procurement teams to validate equipment and spare parts data.

• Support audits and reviews of equipment records to ensure compliance with operational standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Process, or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent experience).

• 3+ years of experience in field or process engineering, preferably in industrial, energy, or manufacturing environments.

• Familiarity with CMMS systems and equipment hierarchy methodologies.

• Strong attention to detail and experience in technical documentation.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
