We are seeking an experienced, collaborative Director, Accounting.  This role will lead monthly accounting processes and functions in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.   • Oversee the month-end close cycle, including overall coordination for the department, review, and approval of month-end accruals, balance sheet account reconciliations, and financial statement analytics.
  • Provide quarterly and annual financial statement audit support; work closely with external auditors.
  • Oversee accounts payable function, including implementation of automation.
  • Lead project to reduce close cycle via process improvement and automation.
  • Assist in the implementation of new GAAP accounting standards, including working with various cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies in a SOX environment
  • Supervise and mentor team of Accountants and Senior Accountants to ensure they're motivated and provided proper support to meet their job duties and responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Participate in other special projects and analyses as needed.
 Skills and Qualifications Required for this Dynamic Team Member: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA required.
  • 10+ years of professional accounting experience with at least 2 years of director level experience, including leading and mentoring an accounting team.
  • Experience and knowledge of US GAAP.
  • High level of organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to think critically and communicate issues to management, solution-oriented.
  • Collaborative leader who promotes team unity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly motivated to grow with the Company and ability to adapt to change.

  • This position reports to the VP, Accounting.
 Compensation & Total RewardsThe expected pay range for this position is $167,000 - $209,000.  Your actual base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on a number of considerations including but not limited to role-relevant knowledge and skills, experience, education, certifications, and more. We offer more than just a paycheck, and your base salary is just the start!
