Are you highly organized and excel in fast-paced kitchen environments? Then you should join us as a resort Dishwasher! In this role, you’ll provide key support in our busy kitchens ensuring that our cooks and servers have clean cookware, utensils and tableware needed to provide top food and beverage service to our guests while following all safety protocols as dictated by company policy and maintain Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards at all times. 

This is a seasonal position. Employment dates begin as soon as 4/1/2025 and work through end of season on or around 9/30/2025. As a part-time, seasonal position, exact schedule and hours are varied based on the needs of the business and may fluctuate from one week to the next.

Compensation

• $15 / hour. Actual pay will vary based on a candidate's skill, experience, education and/or location.

What you’ll do

• Wash all service ware, including dishes, glassware, silverware, service utensils, etc.
• Wash all kitchen ware, including pots, pans, cooking utensils, etc.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and dish-washing machine are in proper working order and dispensing proper chemicals. Regularly test equipment as assigned.
• Participate in the cleaning of the kitchen area and equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned F&B related areas such as storage area, receiving area, dumpster area, etc.
• Participate in all special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Follow all opening and closing procedures and checklists.
• Ensure all equipment is stored properly and in sanitary fashion according to company procedures and health department requirements.
• If business level permits, assist the kitchen with basic food prep tasks.

• Computer Skills and Knowledge
• Basic knowledge of inventory and rotation of food and beverage 
• 6 months to 1 year of recent kitchen experience, preferably in a high volume operation  

Work environment and physical demands

• Must be able to work week days and weekends, holidays and some on-call hours
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
• Ability to stand, sit, and walk for an extended period of time
• Reach overhead and below the waist
• Regularly push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
• Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds
• Bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
