We are currently seeking a power electronics systems engineer to champion OEM customer facing technical issues, requirements and communications. Our ideal candidate exhibits a can-do attitude and approaches his or her work with vigor and determination. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in their respective fields, to possess the ability to learn quickly and to strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:

  • Central point of contact for all power electronics system queries and workstreams related to customer OEMs
  • Working closely with project management to drive cross functional tasks and system engineering activities, working closely with hardware, software, mechanical, integration and test
  • Develop, breakdown, and review requirements, system boundaries and architectures for our charging and inverter products
  • Be part of a team to develop amazing electronics products

Qualifications:

  • Solid background in electronics and software
  • Worked in or with automotive OEMs to deliver power electronics
  • Debugging/validation experience of power electronics
  • Hands on experience in systems engineering
  • Understanding of electronics design and delivery from concept to production

Preferred:

  • MS degree with 1 year experience
  • APQP deliverables and process
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and requirements related to high power applications
  • Experience with quality analysis tools like 8D, fishbone etc..
  • Knowledge of systems engineering approaches and techniques like system V

Education:

  • Minimum – BS in the areas of electronic or electrical engineering
