In this role, you will help us build and optimize our commerce cloud platforms, ensuring a seamless and scalable digital experience for our global customers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a global team driving innovation in a rapidly evolving industry. This is a temporary position limited to 2 years (maternity leave).</p><p></p><p>Typical work hours fall between the business hours of central European and North American east coast time-zones (mostly between 2pm and 11 pm Romanian time).</p><p></p><p><b>What we are looking for:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience within an enterprise level corporate IT environment</li><li>+3 years of working experience in Linux Admin/Middleware Admin/Engineer experience / IT Applications and Technology Business Solutions</li><li>Strong knowledge on <span>Postman, Newrelic tool, SQL, Jenkin,</span>Shell Scripting, JBoss, Tomcat and Ngnix</li><li>Proficient in Installation, configuration of Middleware application servers like WebLogic/ Solr search/ JBoss EWS / wildfy and mod jk load balancer</li><li>Solid understanding of microservices architecture, APIs, and integration patterns</li><li><span>Must have knowledge of SAP Commerce Cloud, AWS cloud, docker, Kubernetes and Azure</span></li><li>Knowledge in CI/CD methodologies, includes Jenkins, AWS code pipeline etc.</li><li>Fluency in English (written and spoken)</li></ul><p></p><p><b>How you will thrive and create an impact: </b></p><ul><li>Providing L2 support for all production and non-production instances, maximizing availability and scalability of all components.</li><li>Continual evaluation of site performance through monitoring and configuration tools.</li><li>Create automated scripts for Weblogic/Jboss domains.</li><li>Managing code migration across environments to ensure continued and synchronized functionality.</li><li>Perform support and troubleshoot activities, including storage, performance, application issues, and 3rd party APIs.</li><li>Perform various maintenance tasks and validate the respective applications during scheduled maintenance windows.</li><li>Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.</li><li><span>Respond to and manage incidents escalated from Level 1 support, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).</span></li><li><span>Participate in change management processes, including creating planned changes for the ecommerce system and obtaining appropriate approvals before implementing them, all while minimizing disruption to operations.</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Why Avantor?</b></p><p></p><p>Dare to go further in your career.
