Overview
To provide leadership, oversight, and direction for effective and efficient operation of a community partnership school site in accordance with grant requirements and delivery of UPCS strategies and supports. To advance the OCPS strategic plan goal of a community-wide network of support for students and families.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
* This position is Grant Funded until September 2028KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Lead the planning, development, and implementation of Unlimited Potential Community Schools (UPCS) strategies and support services that facilitate the achievement of exceptional outcomes in improved student learning, stronger families, and healthier communities. Partner with school leadership to manage and oversee the execution of a network of services within the school. Demonstrated ability to develop and nurture positive relationships with school administrators and community stakeholders. Understand high-needs communities and schools and knowledge of community organizing principles. Knowledge of educational opportunities and social connections for students. Ability to identify health care, translation service, and school programming partnership opportunities. Knowledge of direct contract management activities for the program and development of a sustainability plan. Knowledge of grant administration practices and procedures. Knowledge of and ability to use, create, manipulate, and analyze data within Excel spreadsheets and database systems. Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Understand and interpret state board rules and school board policy. Demonstrated skill and experience in writing and presenting information in various formats to administrators, teachers, support staff, parents, business partners, and community members. Ability to independently plan, execute and monitor the completion of tasks and projects according to established timelines. Demonstrated ability to adapt to changes in priorities and work assignments. Telephone, Computer, (Personal Computer and Mainframe), Automobile, CopierPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Describes physical conditions of this position.Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated as Light Work.PHYSICAL ACTIVITY:Physical activities of this position.
