We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.

Job Summary

Data+ is a new Dominion Energy program that provides colleagues access to consistent data for more informed business decisions. This self-service access allows users to work with critical and timely data to produce data products and support key decision-making.

 

The role of the DATA+ Systems and Governance Project Manager (PM) leads the program implementation and the integration journey for the DATA+ Organization, and the data driven culture experience. This individual will work with stakeholders and partners, within and beyond the DATA+ organization to align, simplify, and drive “A New Way of Working” for the enterprise. The DATA+ Systems and Governance PM will lead integration, consistency, standardization, and governance for the DATA+ organization, with the end-to-end user experience in mind. Achieving our vision of a consistent, effortless, self-service experience will require: (1) A reliable (2) accessible (3) trusted, and (4) repeatable framework to leverage data across the enterprise. This means that we must integrate and standardize our approach to elements that impact the end user – including cultural norms, standards, processes, systems, and methods.  Focus on the foundations of technology, process, and culture, creating a “one stop shop” for data.

 

Establish a system to identify and prioritize organization synergies and interdependencies that impact the user experience. Identify, develop, and implement (directly or through partnership) customer experience best practices and supporting capability training. Partner to define, baseline, measure and track ongoing benefit realization model for DATA+ efforts. Define and lead implementation of governance model and management system for the DATA+ COE. Introduce tools, systems, and methods to drive overall effectiveness of DATA+ strategy programs and goals. Partnership with and coordination of other DATA+ COE team members to achieve our DATA+ Vision, Promises, Strategy, and Roadmap.

 

The Project Manager position leads and supports Data+ the execution of both capital and O&M projects.  Demonstrated knowledge and experience in project management, relevant technologies, and leadership in the assigned project areas.  These projects support the business unit’s overall vision of incorporating emerging technologies, innovation, and data driven processes.  Experience with IT, application or source systems, data, ingestion, and migration projects are preferred.


Candidates must be highly motivated, be able to work with minimum supervision, and have effective communication skills.  
 

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

  • 10 years’ experience managing or implementing projects or managing multi-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • Strong team building skills, demonstrated skill and ability in effectively leading teams to achieve project goals and milestones.
  • Technical knowledge of integrated business systems and/or processes.
  • Lead the development and of Scope of Work (SOW), and Request for Proposal (RFP) Documents.
  • Demonstrates skill in planning, organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated capability in handling multiple distinct projects at one time.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal, facilitation, and presentation capabilities.
  • Ability to develop, manage and monitor project performance to ensure results meet project requirements and schedules.
