The Opportunity
Our location in Temecula, CA, currently has an opportunity for a QA Assistant I.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Provides technical assistance to engineering to support complaint investigation efforts by performing manufacturing record reviews and root cause analysis. Assists engineers in developing methods and procedures to control or improve complaint investigation processes
Core Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
- Assists engineering by performing root cause analysis for complaint investigations and documents investigation findings in an electronic database.
- Develops knowledge of products, processes and procedures.
- Learns process improvement techniques by assisting in the Returned Goods evaluation process; writes basic instructions for testing returned unused devices.
- Performs queries of complaint database analytics reporting system to determine complaint counts and rates.
- Assists Engineers in collecting, compiling, measuring, organizing and recording data, and by
writing procedures.

Close supervision. Receives detailed instruction on all assignments.

Solves problems of limited scope and complexity requiring basic interpretation of well-defined procedures and practices. Maintains confidentiality in handling sensitive information or documents.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING:
Minimum Education H.S. diploma or equivalent plus 0-3 years of related work experience or equivalent combination. Two-year degree or some college credits preferred.
Minimum Experience / Training Required
CAPA background preferred
Medical device experience preferred
