Senior Design Engineer Optical Sensors

<h2><b>Introduction to the job</b></h2><p></p><p><span><span>We have several exciting career opportunities in our Sensors department which is one of the most vital departments in ASML, because it helps enable us to continuously improve our key business drivers of overlay, imaging, focus and throughput.</span></span></p><p><span><span> </span></span></p><p><span><span>Within this role you develop and industrialize state-of-the-art optical sensors in a multidisciplinary environment. In addition you work on complex sensor systems and design its components towards performance, manufacturability, sustainability and cost targets.</span></span></p><p></p><h2><b>Role and responsibilities</b></h2><p></p><p><span><span>As Senior Design Engineer in our Sensors department you will be a key player in a multidisciplinary environment that further develops the current and next generation optical image and level sensors. You will need to demonstrate your skills and knowledge in several of the following activities:</span></span></p><ul><li><span><span>Definition of integration, calibration and test strategy of the optical sensors in our lithography systems</span></span></li><li><span><span>Development of opto-mechanical tools required during install and setup of the sensor</span></span></li><li><span><span>Definition of specifications to meet the required system performance</span></span></li><li><span><span>Cooperate in modeling and experimental verification of sensor performance</span></span></li><li><span><span>Generate effective and creative optical solutions for improving the sensor performance</span></span></li><li><span><span>Analysis and modeling of the performance of our leading-edge optical sensors systems</span></span></li><li><span><span>Support the production of these sensors and its use by the final customers</span></span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education and experience</b></p><p><br/><span><span>Technical University, MSc or PhD in physics or engineering with at least 5 years of experiences in industry and working in multidisciplinary teams.</span></span></p><p></p><h2><b>Skills</b></h2><p></p><p><span><span>This is a highly challenging role and offers you many opportunities for professional and personal development. (Hardware, Software, Electronics, Supplier etc)</span></span></li><li><span><span>To be successful you must build a strong sense of teamwork and relationship to understand your colleagues’ roles and their challenges.</span></span></li><li><span><span>Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are crucial in this dynamic environment to convince and manage your stakeholders inside and outside the team and FC.</span></span></li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p></p><p>This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the <span>United States</span> Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.).
