Key Responsibilities Principle Duties
This is a journey level job. Incumbents perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance/construction duties requiring independent ability to organize and complete maintenance or construction projects, including technical consultation and limited design work, materials and cost estimates, plus compliance with applicable codes. A Journey Maintenance Specialist may:
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications Preferred Qualifications
The best qualified candidate for this position will have 3 or more years of experience in facility/building maintenance or an equivalent combination of relevant education, trade school experience, or other hands-on mechanical and/or electrical systems maintenance experience may be considered in place of the facility/building maintenance requirement.
Additional points will be awarded to candidates with experience in:
Supplemental Information
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined areas, bend and crouch and work with hazardous chemicals.
- Must be able to see and hear.
- Must be available for On Call.
