Job Summary

Under general direction, coordinates daily activities related to student loans; assists with the overall delivery of student aid.

Job Duties

• Assists with delivery and administration of student financial services with primary duties related to the loan requirements.

• Processes loan certifications with the Department of Education and private lenders. Assists with compiling and assessing data for annual reports; monitors awarding, disbursement, refunding and return of loan funds including variance and exceptions. Assists with pulling of loan data from COD and loading onto SLU server.

• Coordinates with University loan processing and training.  Completes on-line processes related to student loans; serves as liaison with finance and lenders

• Assists with presentations to students and parents.  Answers telephone and provides customer service to students, parents, third party individual as well as staff.

• Assists with updating policies and procedures manual.  Serves as backup for processing of federal data records.
