Kimberly-ClarkAbout the role
Job Description
You’re not the person who will settle for just any role. Neither are we. Because we’re out to create Better Care for a Better World, and that takes a certain kind of person and teams who care about making a difference. Here, you’ll bring your professional expertise, talent, and drive to building and managing our portfolio of iconic, ground-breaking brands. In this role, you’ll help us deliver better care for billions of people around the world. It starts with YOU.
In this role, you will:
Coordinate the Plant’s raw material and finishing supply inventory accuracy to support providing adequate supply of materials to Operations. Ensure inventory records, for 1,500+ different raw materials and finishing supplies, are accurate to allow sound decision making by Planning, Quality, and Operations.
This position reports to the NCSF (Neenah Cold Spring Facility) Materials Logistics Manager and is responsible for ensuring the on-going accuracy of materials inventory in NCSF and across overflow warehouses. Responsibilities encompass a wide scope and complexity; potential problems must be anticipated and corrective action taken. The work demands an in-depth knowledge of the corporation’s and facility’s affected raw material and finished good planning practices, policies, and procedures. The Materials Analyst must exercise independent judgment to ensure results are consistent with established objectives. The incumbent works independently with guidance on matters of exceptional or unusual nature. Performance affects the work of others, both within and outside the organization.
Due to the nature of the work the individual must maintain a high degree of flexibility. Requires knowledge of SAP, EWM, and Microsoft Office. This job function entails a significant amount of contact with mill personnel, staff personnel, and external suppliers (from a coordination and informational perspective). Therefore, the incumbent must possess the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise, tactful and courteous manner.
ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Demonstrate an active commitment to safety by complying with safety rules and carrying out job responsibilities in a safe manner. Must be knowledgeable in the safety rules and confront substandard behaviors.
• Demonstrate an active commitment to quality by complying with Corporate Quality Policy and collaborate with the Quality team to resolve raw material and finishing supply issues with external suppliers.
• Complete required cycle counts and annual inventories (as required) to ensure up-to-date and accurate inventory levels to achieve target objectives.
• Investigate and resolve all inventory discrepancies to root cause including invoicing issues caused by receiving inaccuracies.
•Monitor production reporting, material handling procedures and inventory transactions to ensure high levels of raw material inventory accuracy at the individual part number level in SAP for the facility as well as the outside warehouse. Identify root causes, obstacles, or tools needed to achieve benchmark level results in inventory accuracy.
• Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.
• Own inventory accuracy for all mill and overflow raw materials and finishing supplies (currently 1500+ part numbers). Utilize SAP, EWM, and related tools.
• Additional accountabilities as determined by NCSF Materials Logistics Manager
