The Nuclear & Precision Health Solutions division is committed to improving the lives of patients by applying roughly 50 years of experience and expertise in nuclear and precision health. The business provides radiopharmaceutical development, manufacturing, preparation, market access, and business solutions across the care delivery continuum from origin to patient administration. As the only national source for both SPECT and PET radiopharmaceuticals with the largest network of 130 pharmacies and 30 cyclotron facilities, we can reach 95% of U.S. hospitals within three hours. We give customers the support they need in regulatory compliance, reimbursement, continuing education, information management and other crucial areas, so they can focus on their patients.
The Strategic Accounts Director, Nuclear is responsible for managing the success of the relationship with an assigned set of customers, with a focus on the growing the space, in order to achieve the goals and objectives identified by the customer and Cardinal Health. Responsible for long-term relationship building between the customer, Cardinal Health, and other professional organizations (Group Purchasing Organizations, etc.). The complexity of the solution, product, or services offered is variable and can range from simple to moderately complex selling.
Territory: North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
Responsibilities:
Manages and cultivates long-term customer relationships with C-level executives, pharmacy owners, buying groups & group purchasing organization to reach sales objectives and drive profitability for the organization. Anticipates customer behaviors and develops strategies to mitigate risk.
Manages sales expansion, introduces new products/services to clients and organizes visits to current and potential clients to expand buying groups strength. Provides executive representation at industry events in order to influence and elevate the value proposition of Cardinal Health.
Partners with finance and the deal modeling team on customer facing deal impact model.
Partners with account managers and business units enterprise wide to deploy of sales policies and practices and drive sales initiatives.
Gathers and verifies competitive intel
Delivers upon sales plans and coordinates marketing strategies for account management team, within the context of the overall corporate plan.
Training and Rollout of new customer agreements, QBRs, any follow-up after customer visits to ensure relationship and provide excellent service to customers
Demonstrates business expertise and experience leading sales teams and cross functional teams with a variety of service offerings and applies expertise to execute on financial and operational objectives.
Sales training and coordination of meetings and information between our sales team and buying group field sales organization
Travel and Preparations – internal meetings: Deal Modeling, Contracting, Legal preparations to ensure contract aligns with intent of agreement
Qualifications:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in related field preferred
10+ years of successful sales experience preferred in a related field (nuclear, pharmacy, med device, acute care, etc.).
Nuclear or Radiology experience is highly preferred
Hospital hospital/IDN experience (deals with supply chain, navigating c-suite, negotiating contracts) preferred.
Strong knowledge of hospital and healthcare economics.
Demonstrated financial acumen, including strategic and analytical skills. Demonstrated success in complex negotiations.
Clear, concise proactive communication skills. Demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations.
Strong background in complex selling situations, and ability to cultivate and maintain trusting relationships at all levels. Proven success selling diversified product solutions and services.
Strong track record of operating and leading within complex organizations. Highly influential with experience achieving results with/through others.
Ability to analyze complex business issues and lead the development of customized action plans to drive value for the customer and Cardinal Health
Ability to lead and influence cross functionally or previous leadership experience
Willingness & ability to travel 50%-70%
Candidate will need to live within geography and live near a major airport
