What We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a leader to own and improve key user journey experiences, such as prospective student interest capture across digital entry points. In this role, you’ll join an energetic team of product and engineering practitioners as well as a talented group of marketers who work together to advance user journeys and business outcomes across our platform.

As the Sr. Product Manager for Customer Acquisition Experiences, you will lead product strategy and execution to refine/reimagine how we collect and qualify interest in these products both on edX.org and other web properties so that customers can discover the right offering based on their needs.

Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:

  • Define strategy, target outcomes, and product priorities informed by customer and business needs
  • Create a comprehensive roadmap in support of delivering critical outcomes and regularly measure and communicate impact; adjusting course as needed 
  • Demonstrate productive curiosity through research and discovery with learners, other product managers, and business leaders to understand their needs and collect evidence to inform our approach. 
  • Collaborate with a cross-functional agile team of engineering, data science, UX, and business stakeholders to define the opportunity list, prioritized backlog, product requirements, bets, and experiments that help move the product forward. 
  • Represent your team, the work, and the impact to 2U leadership, the broader company, and external stakeholders.
  • Develop an appetite for trying your own product to develop empathy for the customers who use it.  
  • Other duties, as assigned

Things That Should Be In Your Background:

  • 5+ years of practical software delivery experience in a product management or design role
  • A proven data informed and iterative approach.  You craft audacious hypotheses, invest in experimentation and learning, and are comfortable and emboldened when there’s ambiguity
  • Able to create and own an outcomes-based roadmap
  • Empathy for our customers (both internal and external) and a relentless focus on improvement.
  • You have an action-driven mindset with strong cross-team collaboration skills, including conflict resolution, negotiation, and seasoned presentation skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate a product mindset when presented with business challenges and opportunities - efficiently form loosely held strong opinions through structured thinking.
  • Experience with customer acquisition strategies in complex markets

Other Attributes That Will Help You In This Role:

  • Proven ability to collaborate with marketing to increase traffic and conversion, including experience with marketing technology and enablement tools.
  • Experience with lead forms and marketing sites and marketplace products
  • Familiarity with online higher ed

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($136,500 -$155,000), with potential bonus eligibility.  Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualification
