Join Aprio's Advisory team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio, LLP is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Manager, Firewall & Incident Response to join their dynamic team. 

Position responsibilities:

  • Oversight, management, and technical support of the infrastructure and web application firewall management services 
  • Development, documentation, and technical management of firewall health monitoring and update services 
  • Development, documentation, and technical management of firewall policy rule design, review, management, and quality assurance process 
  • Support delivery of security operations functions including vulnerability management, asset tracking, password management, and other security controls 
  • Support the Plan, Design, and Build cycle for the deployment of security controls. 
  • Supporting security program development and configuration in Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google GCP 
  • Oversight and development of standardized operating procedures to support expanding the scope security services, optimizing delivery of repeatable services, and building the delivery teams leveraging both internal and external resources. 
  • Execute assigned duties to support security operations center managed security services including incident response management, process development, documentation development, and quality management.  
  • Project management skills to including building work task descriptions, alignment with project managers, and oversight of projects that are supported by multiple resources. 
  • Participate and support incident response services. 
  • Engagement with prospective clients to support pre-sales including describing Aprio services, managed security services, and consulting services.  Tasks include working with clients to scope delivery of services, assisting business development in providing proposals and supporting questions clients have on proposals. 
  • Support maintaining, updating, and automation of Firewall Device Management applications (FireMon, AlgoSec, etc.) 

Qualifications:

  • 3-5+ years of experience. Ability to self-manage, track tasks, and communicate status on a daily and weekly basis.
  • Active security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCSP, GSEC, GCIH, CCIE, CCNP or the Security Equivalent Network certs such as CCNP Security, networking or cloud vendor specific certifications is a plus. 
  • Current working knowledge of multiple vendor firewalls (Checkpoint, Cisco, Palo Alto), as well as second tier vendors (Fortinet, or SonicWall), and Management Stations (FMC, FTD) are a plus. Working knowledge of Web application firewalls, and cloud managed firewalls, DDOS protection, email protection, and web protection controls.
  • Working knowledge of SIEM technology, end point threat detection, and malware protection tools.
  • Knowledge of standard security controls including anti-virus, password management, active directory, multi-factor authentication, patching tools, vulnerability scanners, and other standard security tools.
  • Advanced knowledge of networking protocols and communications. Understanding of network and cloud security controls. Current working knowledge of industry recognized frameworks such as NIST, PCI, HIPAA, etc. 
  • Experience in firewall planning, design, deployment, rule management, and firewall maintenance, supporting and participating in cybersecurity incident response teams. 
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using work management tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, ZendeskTask management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects, task prioritization, and deadline management. Current skills using MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
